Facilities Engineer

Qualification

  • Graduate of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or any related field.

  • With experience in facilities management or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

  • Has experience in project management, including budgeting and scheduling.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with legal requirements related to facilities management.

  • With BOSH/COSH training is an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Daily monitoring and checking, develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all facilities and equipment.

  • Conduct facility audit and identify opportunities to improve in the facility including 5S and safety.

  • Design and oversee the construction, renovation, and improvement facility projects and, ensuring they are functional, efficient, and safe.

  • Check and supervise ground and facility maintenance personnel and contractors.

  • Preparation and submission to PEZA of documents needed to scrap hauling with coordinators to GA personnel.

  • Helps ensure compliance with legal requirements (PEZA, BFP, DOLE) etc.

  • Work with other departments to identify and prioritize facility-related projects and allocate resources accordingly.

  • Ensure that all facilities are equipped with necessary safety equipment and that staff is trained to use it.
